Before leaving for California, we had to celebrate the special boy's birthday! For weeks, we had some birthday presents piling up (making sure that they were all wrapped in birthday paper so we could tell them apart from the Christmas presents) and Kole would walk by them, point, and say "mine!"
So when we finally told him that we were going to let him open them, he was sooooo excited@!!!
And at first, opening the presents was hard work...
...but he soon got the hang of it all and would gasp at the sight of the presents that he was unwrapping
It was hilarious.
Then we sat him in his highchair...
...and sang "Happy Birthday" to him...
...then Daddy helped blow out the candles.
Then it was eating time!!!
