Gettin' Crafty: Weslie's Dresser

While we were walking home from school last week, we past by this dresser...

It had been set out by the curb for the trash guys to pick it up.  My internal craftiness began working, and once home, we all jumped in the Tahoe and returned to pick it up.  I made Kade knock on the door, just to make sure that they really were getting rid of it.  And the nice teenager assured me they were and offered to hep me load it up.

Once home, and unloaded, we made a quick trip to the Home Depot for some paint.  And two afternoons of painting later, Weslie has a new (to her) dresser!!!!

She was so excited to put it in her room...and load all her clothes inside.  The bones of the dresser are in good shape.  We need to purchase two knobs for the bottom drawers (as we had all of the others left over from her old dresser.)  But all in all, for about $15 in paint...not too shabby!!!
