2y and 4y stats

This is more for our records than anything...

Kade's stats at 4 years old:

  • height: 43.75 inches (97th %)
  • weight: 45 lbs (97 %)
  • wears size 5 on top and 4T on bottoms
  • wears size 12.5 shoes

Kade, you are 4 years old...my where does the time go? You are such a happy, good-natured little boy...and I am proud to be your Mommy. You can write your name all by yourself...and have begun to be able to recognize other letters (besides K,A,D, and E.) You love to play outside - basketball, baseball, jump on the trampoline, and swing AND you can already hit a pitched ball with a bat (it's pretty impressive.) You are a great big brother to Weslie...and help her do all the things you are doing (as she loves to follow you around.) You are also a big helper to Mommy...helping me with groceries or whatever I need you to do. You are quite the little "man of the house" while your Daddy is gone. You have a memory of an elephant...and often times have to remind your Daddy and I about events past or things that we need to remember. You are still a quite funny guy...making us laugh nearly every day. You still love going to gymnastics (and the teachers are really impressed with your skills...saying that we need to move you up to the next level), and you are liking going to soccer. I think sometimes you get alittle bored with that, though. You are one of the most caring kids that I know...and you a quick to be compassionate to those in need. Thanks for being such an awesome little boy. My goodness...you will be starting Kindergarden in a year...you need to stop growing up, right now!!!

Weslie's stats at 2 years old:

  • height: 33 inches (25th %)
  • weight: 24.3 lbs (15th %)
  • wears size 24 months both top and bottom (but some bottoms are too long)
  • wears size 4.5-5 shoes
  • wears size 3 diapers

Weslie...oh Weslie. You are 2...going on 22. You are a sassy, sweetie and Daddy and I wouldnt have it any other way. You yell at us when you dont get your way and have figured out if you start crying...you can usually get whatever you want. You follow Kade around, doing whatever he does, and you so want to be a big kid. You love to play outside...swinging, jumping on the trampoline, and playing in the dirt. You have an awesome vocabulary...as you talk in complete sentences and understand everything that we tell you. You are still a great sleeper...going to bed with ease...and if you wake up in the middle of the night...you play with your babies or just turn your music on until you fall back to sleep. Your hand continues to improve...and we are seeing more and more spontaneous grabbing than ever before. We are still getting OT once a week for you and you are now taking gymnastics once a week as well. This has been awesome for your hand (hanging on the bars...which you can do all by yourself) and your core strength. You love puppy dogs and are so sweet when you give them "gentle touches." You are still quite the snuggler when it comes to bedtime...rocking with Daddy and reading books. You are also a very compassionate child...and know just the right times to run up to Mommy for some quick hugs and loves. You love music and dance at the sound of any song...AND you even know a few songs by heart (Twinkle, Twinkle and Alright by Darius Rucker are your favs.) You might have a sassy side, File'...but you are our File'...and we wouldnt have it any other way.
