Riding in the car yesterday (the kids had stayed home from daycare with me):
Kade: Mommy, why we didnt go to daycare today?
Me: Because, babe, I just wanted yall to stay home with me today.
Kade: Why?
Me: Because I love you and want to spend time with you.
Kade: Why?
Me: Because you are my babies.
Kade: No, Mommy...you are my baby!
I am so thankful that we have such a sensitive, sweet boy as our oldest baby!!! He truly does take great care of me and Weslie while his Daddy is away.
