MU vs Bowling Green

This past weekend was the home opener for MU. We played Bowling Green...and ended up beating them (but not without a fight...and not without a come-from-behind win.)

But before the game, the Strength and Conditioning Department hosted their annual tailgate for all of the people the contributed to the Performance Club. So with Caton being in charge, we headed to the Tailgate to mingle with the donors and see our Daddy before the game.

Once there, Weslie was immediately smitten with Tyler...

...she really loves this guy!!! And Kade was having fun with Ryan...

...this is the same player that Weslie fell asleep on at Caton's powerlifting meet.

Kade got a hold of the microphone, and gave us alittle serenade...

...evidently we need to work on the words to "Twinkle Twinkle..."
...aaannnddd to the "Z-O-U chant."

Anyways, we made it over to the game in plenty of time to watch the pre-game activities...including taking Kade to the bathroom 3 times before the game started...

Weslie, on the other hand, was her usual...happy self...

...and posed with Nico for a pic.

During the National Anthem, a stealth bomber flew overhead...

...and then kept right on going... (it was really creepy because it barely made any noise while it was flying). But in the pic below you can also see the HUGE new scoreboard and screen...

In the end, MIZZOU ended up winning and we are now 2-0!!!

How Fun!!! I often wish Rex had gone through with his coaching plans! It's a hard lifestyle, but includes so many amazing (and unique) experiences for your kids! Thanks for the pic of the scoreboard, we have heard but had yet not seen:-) Awesome!
