As I sit here, in our living room, listening to college football on the TV and the boys (yes, both of them) snoring in the recliner...I cant help but be thankful for everything we have and for the past year - 2008.
Most importantly it brought us the birth of our little girl. We are so fortunate to have her in our lives, as she brightens the room whenever she enters it. With her infectious smile, you cant help but smile back...and everywhere we go people comment on how happy she is.
Although we have had some not-so-easy-to-handle news on Weslie's health, we know that she is going to be okay...and we are doing everything to make that a reality.
From our vacation at the Bowl Game for last year's season (the Cotton Bowl) during the beginning of 2008 to our vacation at the beach in July to our vacation at the Bowl Game last week...this year has been filled with happy memories, tons of good times and an abundance of joy. We only hope that 2009 brings the same for us, for you, and for everyone.
