Kade's newest obsession is chapstick which he calles "chapped lips"...as in "Mommy, I need my chapped lips please." He loves it, loves to put it on, lick it off and put it on again. So as a treat the other night, Caton bought Kade his very own stick. And Kade asked to put some on, so we gave him the stick and didnt think much more about it.
Then, we started to smell an overwhelming scent of cherries...and when we looked at Kade...this is what we found...
He had taken the chapstick and put it ALL OVER his face. He even said, "Mommy, I make circles, like this!" as he was motioning in a circular motion all around his face.
Yeah, we have severely cut his use of chapstick...and only allow him to use it under strict supervision!!!

Jarrett calls it making a smiley face!!! It is the simple things!!! :)
My nephew Guy went through the same chapstick obsession. If you asked him about his chapstick... his response was "not 'posed to eat it" which obviously his mom had drilled into his head.
PS. Got them an Elf on the Shelf (aka Fred) and they love it!
he must take after someone else we know.....
