A Cougar on the Prowl

While at the beach, Keith's long time friend, Chip, came down to stay for a few days. Chip went to Southern Miss with Keith, was Keith's little brother in their frat, was Keith's roommate for a few years...then moved in with Keith while at Auburn and we all lived together for the few months prior to the wedding. Anywho, Chip is like family and we were excited that he got the opportunity to come and hang out with us.

So while he was there, we all decided to go to the Flora Bama on Sunday night. (If you have never heard of this establishment, it pretty much a lean-to on the Alabama/Florida line that has become an icon in our history. AND every redneck in town HAS to frequent the Flora Bama while on vacation...hence the reason we decided to go!!) It ended up being, Keith, me, Chip, Kate, Aaron, Amy and some of Kate and Aaron's friends from Louisiana. Anyways, we were there, the crowd was light (being a Sunday night) and everyone was having a great time.

During one of the band's breaks, the DJ started playing a rather slow song. So this older lady (she wasnt really old, come to find out she was only like 42 or something, but still, she was older than all of us...so from here on out, she will be referred to as "the cougar") came up to Keith and asked, "Hey, is this a spectator sport?" Keith was like, "Huh?" Then she asked, "Do you wanna dance?" And to this Keith's reply was, "Well, I have a wife....but he doesnt!" as he points to Chip. So then Chip is like, "Yea, okay, you wanna dance?"

Of course "the cougar" jumps at the chance. And all I have to say is poor, poor Chip. She was out on the prowl and was trying to sink her claws into him. As they were dancing, she was rubbing his back and being VERY affectionate....and at the end, there was even a little kiss involved!!! We were all so proud of our little boy (Chip)....watching him being mauled by "the cougar" was probably the funniest part of that evening.

So for the rest of the time that Chip was there, the running joke was ... "Yeah, ummm, I married....but he's NOT!!!"

Way to go Keith...throwing your boy to the cougars!!!! Unforgivable!!!

On a side note, while Amy and I were going to the bathroom, we ran into "the cougar". She proceeded to tell us that she has a daughter who is 21 and goes to Auburn. Amy says, "Oh, I'm 21!!!" Anyways, her daughter is in art school (or something) and has a 3.0..blah blah blah....of course Amy just kept egging her on, "Oh really? Yea, she sounds smart....You ARE NOT that old!! You might be 42, but you look HOT!!!" Anyways, it was funny!!
