This week, our team has been competing in the City Tournament. Our park sends the top 2 teams from our league to compete here...and finishing second in the league...we got to come.
We had new shirts made up for Kade's biggest fans...
And a banner (and wooden baseballs) were made to hang on the dugout...
This team has played so hard. They ended up losing one game...and battling back through the loser's bracket to meet that same team in the Championship game.
Kade pitched in that game...and pitched a great game!
Only 2 kids even put the bat on the ball...and we ended up winning the game...pushing the tournament to a second championship game against the same team.
Unfortunately we didn't win it a second time. But we are so proud of this little park team. Way to go Diamonbacks!!!
And our hearts will always lie with this one. Way to go Kade!!!
