Even though we had just returned from Italy on Tuesday....there's no rest for the weary!!! The plan was to drive half of the way on Thursday and the other half on Friday. But when we woke up this morning...Kole's eye looked like this!
And as the morning progressed...it seemed to get worse. So I took him to an UrgentCare. And a rx for steroids later...we were finally on the road.
We picked up Aunt Jackie in Shreveport and made it to somewhere in Mississippi before stopping for the night.
The next day we got up and were back on the road...and in Birmingham around lunch time. We met KK and Aunt Amy for some pizza, got all checked in to our hotel...then headed to eat with the future graduate!
The next day was Graduation Day!!! Kole was not amused...
But our Aunt Amy did it!!! UAB graduate of Dental School!!! Congrats to Dr. Kenny!!!
And this one was just funny...Kole was in rare form.
We packed up on Sunday morning and drove ALL THE WAY back to Texas...dropping Aunt Jackie in Shreveport again. It was a quick trip, but I was glad that we could be there to support Amy!!!
