Tonight we took the kids to the Compassion Expereince. It was where we walked through the lives of different children that have been impacted by Compassion International. It was really eye opening...and I hope that the children got to see that they really do live a charmed life.
We also ended up sponsoring a Compassion child. We let Kade choose the child and he chose a little boy from Bangladesh named Tuhin. So over the course of the next few weeks, we will write to him and tell him all about us...and pretty much welcome him into our family. Our money will provide him with schooling and food and a chance to get to know Jesus.
We are so thankful that we got to take the kids to this and hope that our relationship with Tuhin will not only change his life...but ours too.
