On New Year's Day, it was finally GAME DAY!
So in the afternoon, we boarded a bus and headed to the stadium...
We were a few hours early, so we walked over the the "Biggest Tailgate in the Nation."
And I guess it was the biggest. They had BBQ pork sandwiches and pasta salad. So I had that and got the kids a pizza. We sat in the Baylor Network's area and listened to the music and ate our food. And after hanging out for a while we headed into the stadium to find our seats.
And even though the outcome wasn't exactly what we wanted or were expecting it was still a really fun time.
After the game, it was super late. We went back to the Villa, and got some sleep...with thoughts of good ole Texas on our minds.
