Yesterday was the Bears final game of the regular season. It was also the final game in "The Case" (our current stadium that the Bears have played in for the last 50 years.)
So we picked up a friend of Kade's and headed to the game. Oh, did I mention that the temp at game time was 25 degrees!!!! IT WAS FREEZING!!!!!
But that didn't matter to these two...
And just after kickoff, we heard that not only would this be the last game of the season...that because OSU had lost, it would be for the Big XII Championship!!!
Even though we were cold...we were excited!!!
And after a rather slow start, BU finally pulled away from Texas and clinched their first BIG XII Title!!!! And a Fiesta Bowl appearance!!!
We got on the field with the rest of Baylor Nation...
...and celebrated with everyone. It was a great feeling!!!
Now, the players have exams starting this week...then it will be Bowl Game preparations until we leave for Arizona on the 26th.
Look out Scottsdale...you have a band of Big XII Champion Bears headed your way!!!!
