This weekend, we had a visitor - Derek Neal. This kid was on one of Caton's very first teams that he coached...and to say that we adore this guy is an understatement. He is so good with our children, and we love when he comes to visit.
He got here on Friday afternoon, just before the kids got out of school. He got a workout in, then he and I took the kids to their games that night. After they played, we went to dinner where Caton was able to meet us.
Then Saturday morning, we went back to the fields for more games. Then headed to campus for a while to show Derek around. Here he and the kids are in the indoor (it was really dark in there!!!)
After naps and Derek and I getting a hellish workout in, we headed back to the game that night.
The Bears won in high fashion, beating Iowa State.
The next morning, Caton was up and out the door...and we had to say goodbye to
Derek as he headed back to Dallas to catch a flight. He vowed to come back again! We miss him and wished he lived closer!!!
