4th on the Brazos

Caton and I got up on the morning of the 4th and checked out of our hotel in Los Cabos.  We got to the airport and made our way on to our flight.  Once landed in Dallas, we sent the next 1.5 hours standing in immigration and customs lines.  It was brutal!!!

But eventually we made our way our of the airport, drove home, and ended up getting home right during dinner time.  There was ribs, hamburgers, beans, salad, corn and pie all waiting for us!!!  It was awesome!

After unloading our stuff, filling our bellies, and loving on some excited kids, we went to downtown Waco to partake in the 4th of July festivities.  We walked around checking things out.  There were a TON of people there just hanging out and listening to the bands.

Right around dark, we all went back to the car so that we could get settled to watch the fireworks.  And after about 5 minutes of them, they were done.  Turns out there was an electrical problem and the 30 minute show was only 5 minutes.

Oh well, we still had a great time!!!
