So on Saturday, the focus switched from me to Kade. For we had a 7th birthday party to attend!!! We stopped on the way to pick up the cake...
...and headed to Chuck E Cheese's. Kade was so excited to be there, and as soon as his buddies showed up, they were off playing games...
This little boy was excited to attend his brother's party too...
...he ran around like a banchee having the best time.
He even got some QT in with Daddy while playing a few games.
At one point, Chuck E came out and was dancing the Cupid Shuffle with the kids. It was pretty cute.
Caton caught a few quick seconds with the birthday boy...
Weslie and our neighbor, Jill...
And I couldnt help but think that this pic may be a glimpse into their Spring Break future...

The birthday boy got a special crown and we sang him Happy Birthday...
Then he blew out all 7 candles...(seven??? seriously?!?! Where has the time gone???)
And we were able to get a few pics with Chuck E
But this little boy DID NOT love Chuck E, so he stayed safely in Daddy's lap...
The last activities were a pinata filled with tickets and tokens...
...and Kade getting a chance to go into the Ticket Blaster...
He chose his buddy, Frankie, to go in there with him and they actually caught the 1000 ticket coupon. I think they ended up coming out of there with about 1060 tickets. It was pretty cool.
We ended up staying for about an hour after the party ended...trying to use up all of the tokens that we had.
Then we had to take all of our tickets and cash them in for super awesome prizes! (I think we came away with a gumball machine, a hot wheels car and some candy.)
And after coming home, we all rested. It was a great 7th birthday party for a special 7 year old boy.
