One of our biggest concerns with Weslie's arm being casted is that she might "forget" how to use the casted hand. But, as usual, she has completely proved us wrong.
We took her second cast off on Sunday night, so she would be able to go to school on Monday without it on. So when she got home, she immediately wanted to get her "homework" done while she had the chance (since she writes with her left hand...the hand casted.)
And to my surprise, she can completely write her name!!!
I had to help her trace the 'S' at the top...but after that, she did the rest by herself!!!
This girl really does amaze me.
