8 months

On Sunday, Kole turned 8 months. It's crazy to think that he's closer to being a toddler than being a baby. He has really taken off in the last month. Crawling, pulling up, cruising. It won't be long before he is running after his brother and sister!

He is 20.6lbs, about 27 inches long, wearing 12mo clothes, and a size 3 diaper. He is the happiest child! Literally engaging everyone that walks by with a huge grin! He has one tooth (bottom right) and he eats everything that we give him! As long as we can smush, mash, or grind it up small enough, he will eat it! And most of the time, he doesn't even like the baby food - he would rather have the food that Caton and I are eating!

Kole is such a pleasure. And aside from the whole sleeping issue, he is a really easy baby. He isn't quite sleeping through the night, but I have started refusing to nurse him until around 4am (he goes to sleep around 8pm). Last night I was able to fend off his "advances" and kept putting his paci back in. He was up for around 20 mins at 2am, but eventually fell back to sleep until 4am! That's when I nursed him and he was right back to sleep again until 7am.

Here's to your 3/4 bday, Dubby-boy. Guess we need to start planning your 1st bday party!!!
