We left KY on a trek to Monroe, LA to attend the Sun Belt Baseball Tournament. The 9 hour road trip ended up taking us 10 hours...which wasnt so bad considering all of the potty-stops and the fact that our route included all of the back country roads between here and there. At one point, the only person we passed was driving a combine...but we eventually made it.
We headed straight to the field to watch the home run derby. But after waiting for them to get started, then realizing that there were two rounds, we left after seeing our guy hit the first round. We went to eat dinner, then we finally checked in at the hotel.
It was a late night, but we were excited to get up early the next day to watch the Tops play.
