Off She Goes...

Today, as I dropped Weslie off at "big girl" preschool, I got her out of the car and met her teacher outside of the school building. After greeting her teacher, Weslie was ready to go inside...and didnt even bat an eye as she was escorted inside....leaving her Mommy on the curb and my heart in my throat.

I know it was only 3 hours of school...but it felt like an eternity. I literally watched the clock tick and was super early picking her up. She ran to me and hugged my neck telling me all about her day. They colored, they played outside, they ate "lunch" (it was really breakfast). When I asked if she wanted to go back tomorrow, Weslie answered, "Oh yes, Mommy!" And when I told her, "Okay, then you can come back tomorrow," she answered, "Thank you, thank you Mommy!"

She's so big...and she's only three!!!
