Today is Kade's 5th birthday. 5!!!! Five years old. It just cant be real. But alas, it is. We took donuts and milk to his school this morning so that he could celebrate with all of his classmates. When we got there, they had a special hat for him to wear (and he got to come out of uniform for his special day).
Then they all sat and sang him the "Special Day" song. He sings this all the time, and you can see how much he loved having it sung to him...
Then they sung "Happy Birthday" to him and at the end they sang "God Bless You" while Mrs. K blessed him with Holy Water...
Then he blew out his candles...
We are going to have a family party tonight. We asked Kade what he wanted to eat for dinner...and he said pancakes. So we will be eating pancakes for dinner and celebrating our sweet boy.
Then on Sunday, he has invited 6 of his buddies over for a Pirate Party...complete with a ship ring toss game and a treasure hunt. It should be exciting!!!
