RSV

On the way home from AL, Weslie was feeling pretty puny. I took her to the doctor last Friday an she was diagnosed with croup.

Then over the weekend, Kole started with the same symptoms - barking cough, snotty nose, having a hard time nursing, wheezy breathing.

For a while there, Caton and I were really concerned about him. So we were back in the doctors office on Monday morning. They took xrays of Koles lungs - and they were clear. So we went home with Kole getting a steroid shot to help with the inflammation in his airway and a shot of antibiotics to combat any infection.

Then we retuned on Tuesday morning. Kole was alittle better, but still wheezing and still not feeling great. So they did an RSV test and he got another round of both shots.

We went back again this morning due to his RSV test coming back positive. The doc was excited that Kole has put back on the 5 ounces that he lost (plus more) and that Kole was looking sooo much better.

Looks like we have turned the corner with his RSV. Now of we can just make sire that the other kids don't get it!
