Tooth Update

Caton took Weslie to the dentist today...and the verdict - the tooth is looking better and better!!!

The dentist said that they tooth is getting tighter...and that the spot on the x-ray was not getting any bigger. AND he was amazed that she isnt having much discoloration. So we will continue to monitor it with weekly visits...but for now, everything is looking great!!!

The dentist did say that we needed to start a saltwater rub into her gums right behind her front two teeth to a) help keep that area really clean, and b) to help with the inflammation that she still has right there in her gums. Because as the inflammation goes down, it will allow for her gums to tighten up around her tooth even more.

AND to top it all off...Weslie sat in the chair (like an adult would) and allowed the dentist to poke and prod around in her mouth. So, while he was completely shocked that someone so young would allow him to do all of that, he did say that if we get to a point that she will have to have the surgery...we may be able to do it right there in the office (instead of going to a hospital and having her put under.)
