One-day, Two-day, Three-day, Four

We all know Kade is a riot. The things that come out of his mouth are not only hilarious...but often times pretty smart (if you think of it from a 4 year old's perspective.)

So he had really been concerned lately with days of the week...specifically when we are leaving for vacation. Our conversation on Monday afternoon went like this:

K: Mommy, are we leaving for vacation today?
Me: No babe, not today...we will leave on Wednesday.
K: So today...what is today?
Me: Today is Monday. We will leave two days from now.
K: So today is one-day, then tomorrow is two-day, then we will leave on three-day?
Me: (laughing) Babe, today is MONday...not one-day. Tomorrow is TUESday...not two-day. And we will leave on Wednesday.
K: So not on one-day or two-day...but the next day?
Me: Yeah, something like that.

I love that kid!!!

So cute! You could write a book just on the things he says! Love it!

I totally get it. Aunt J -- maybe it's true, the older you get, the more like a child you become.
