Weslie, you are now 18 months old...where does the time go??? What are you up to these days...besides being the apple of your Mommy's eye and having your Daddy wrapped around your finger!!!
- at last measurement, you were 30.5 inches tall (10th %tile) , 21lbs (7th %tile), and your head circumference is 46.5 cm (50th %tile)
- you are just now getting into 18 month size clothing...however, can still wear alot of 12 month stuff too
- you are in a size 3 diaper and size 3.5 shoes
- you can say lots of words - mama, dada, buuba, shoes, juice (for juice or milk), dog, maa-yee (for Matti), KK, peas (for please), tank-uuu, cheee (for cheese)...and you still use sign language to say 'eat' and 'more'...AND you babble constantly. Alot of the time you will be talking to Daddy and I...babbling...and then look at us like we are supposed to know what you were saying. Daddy and I joke that it sounds like you are from Lebanon or Japan...its really funny.
- you love your baby dolls and sleep with your Curious George monkey every night
- you are still a very easy baby...not crying alot unless you are tired or hungry...and you are a good sleeper. When it is time to go to bed, Daddy and I can ask you, "Weslie, are you ready to go to bed?" and you will gather up your babies and start walking back to your room. We put you in bed, turn on your music and leave. Sometimes you fall asleep right away...other times you play with your babies...but you very rarely cry. And if you wake up in the middle of the night, you will just turn on your music and eventually go back to sleep.
- you love to do whatever Kade is doing...especially if it is playing outside or rough-housing with Daddy
- your hand is getting better and better. We are still doing therapy once a week with the OT, but Daddy and I try to do alittle bit everyday. Last night, you even picked up a Cheese It with a pincher grasp!!! It was a huge cause for celebration!!!
- you are becoming quite the snuggler...especially when you begin to get tired. You will crawl up into Daddy's arms and rock with him. You also like to look at and "read" books. Dr. Suess are your favorites.
We love you sweet girl. Happy 18 month Bday!!!

Thought it was funny about the monkey...both our kids have one too from Tersa and sleep with them everynight.
Also, doesn't it feel great to say she is a great sleeper!! Both my kids ended up that way too after many nights of nursing that feel like they will never end. My how time flys by!
how does she turn on her music? do you have a crib music box? i need something like that.
What wonderful memories you are making for you and Keith to share and also Weslie when she is older. She is so adorable. Love you all.
