When we rolled up on the YouZeum, we noticed that a bunch of other Moms with little ones had decided the same thing. So off we went to stand in line...
...notice that Weslie was SUPER EXCITED about getting to meet Curious George. Once inside, and having paid our entrance fee (it was $8 for me to get in and both kids were free!!!) we met TJ, the Children's Hospital mascot...
...I picked Weslie up and started to take her over to TJ...and her face began to shrink up like she was about to scream...so we just waved from afar.
Then we went downstairs to meet CG...
...Kade gave him a huge hug, while Weslie touched him with one finger and promptly began to cry. So we quickly said goodbye and went to find some other activities to participate in.
They had a banana station where you could put different toppings on a banana and eat it. Kade chose chocolate for his topping (he must be my child) and Weslie opted for a plain banana.
After our snack, we headed to the little kids area (for kids up to 7 years). We investigated some stuff...
...Sherlock Holmes would be proud of Kade's technique. I like to call it the "smash-it-into-your-face-to-get-a-better-look" technique.
Weslie tried her hand at hula-hooping...
...more like just walked around with the hoop around her...but whatever.
Kade played with some bells inside of a tube...
Weslie found and "aquarium" with some escaped fish...and helped the fish back in...
Kade rode on a riding lawn mower...
And the kids sat up in a window seat and took a look down over CoMo.

After all our fun, we swung by Daddy's office to say "hello" then grabbed some lunch and took it to daycare. I then bid the children farewell and headed to work for the afternoon.
It was alot of fun...and a short glimpse into the kind of activities that we might do if I was a SAHM.
