On Christmas Eve, we welcomed KK to Texas to stay with us for the week...and went to Knibbe Ranch for hayrides, horseback riding, Christmas Eve dinner, and the football players Christmas caroling.
Here we are on the hayride through the ranch...
...Chuck showed us some of his cattle...they came right up to the trailer. A few of them were actually brindle striped (like a brindle striped puppy) and were called "Tiger stripe" cows. Pretty perfect for a group of Tiger fans...
...this is Kade and Chuck Knibbe...Kade said, "Thats a REAL cowboy!!!"...
...KK and Weslie decided to skip the hayride, but waved to us from the main house as we passed by...

...this is Kade on "Oreo" the bull. This bull was completely socialized and gentle...his owner said that he is even housebroken and spends his days indoors (treated like a pet). Pretty neat, and kinda gross at the same time...
...Kade looking at Oreo saying, "Mommy, dat cow snotty!" Yes he was, son, yes he was!
...Caton and Chase Daniel had a bet that they were both going to shave their facial hair before the game. So this is the before pic. Chase said that he had never played a game baby-faced, and I dont think I have ever seen Caton without some kind of facial hair....it was a dramatic change to say the least.
After dinner, each class of football players got up on stage and serenaded everyone with a different Christmas carol. We had a great time and hopped aboard a bus to go back to the hotel to get ready for Santa to visit that night.
