Alamo Bowl - Game

On gameday, Caton was in and out all morning. KK, Amy and I took the kids to the food court to get some lunch, then headed back to the room to make sure that KK had all her stuff ready to fly out that afternoon. So once we said our goodbyes to KK, we hung out in the room getting ready for the game and allowing Kade to nap as long as he could.

At around 5, we were all up and at 'em, so we decided to walk over to the MU Alumni Association's tailgate party. This is me, Kade, Aunt Amy, and Weslie at the tailgate (we were a man down as Weslie couldnt hold her eyes open and got a quick nap in the sling.)

...Kade and Nico...(Kade loves this kid, calles him "Geeko", and loves to roughhouse with him)

...Bailey, Kade, Nico at the tailgate...

...Weslie and Mommy at the game...

...Aunt Amy and Kade at the game...

...Me, Amy, the kids at the game...

After we finally won (in overtime) we made our way onto the field...and Kade found Truman and gave him a celebratory hug...

...family pic on the field after the game...

...Caton and Kade with the trophy...(apparently the trophy weighed like 75 lbs. so Coach Pinkel came over to Caton and asked him to carry it into the locker room for him. Guess that pack mule IS good for something :-) )

...during the celebration, they released balloons from the ceiling of the Dome...so Kade found the biggest one and used it as a weapon...
"Cheese" - Kade not wanting to stop playing for a second to have his picture made...
...Kade also tried to eat the balloon...too bad it popped on the ceiling of the hotel once we returned to our room.

The next day was spent packing up the last of our stuff (we had already packed up most of it and put it on the truck the day before), sending Aunt Amy off to catch her flight, and making sure to be in the right place to catch our buses to the airport to fly home to Missouri.
Now we are finally home and getting back into a routine. It was so much fun to be away for a Bowl Game, but so nice to finally be home and settled again.

When did Amy become Bear Bryant? Love her hat (*wink*)! And Jeremy Maclin is so fast. Every step he took on the field was like 5 yards. He's my new favorite.
