7 months and a fever

Weslie is now 7 months old...ever growing, ever changing, and doing new things everyday. She can army crawl where ever she wants to go and can sit up unassisted (as long as you help her to get to the sitting up position...she gets stuck about half way up and looks at you like, "Can a girl get alittle help here, please???"...too funny.). She is so silly and will deliberately pull Caton's goatee to get a reaction out of him. Then she will laugh at Caton's reaction. She has eaten all the fruits and vegetables and is starting on the meats. She can pick up little objects like Cheerios and has managed to get a few into her mouth...only to scrunch up her nose and spit them out. She still has no teeth, however, has been running a fever the last few days...so we may be on the brink of teeth!!!

She did get weighed at the doctor's office...16 lbs, 9 ounces. I am not sure how long she is, though. She is still in the 6 month clothes...however, some of the smaller 6 month sleepers are getting to the point that they are being stretched in order for her to wear them. She is still nursing like a champ, and waking up at night to eat. If we get a stretch of 4 uninterrupted hours of sleep...that is a long time. However, she is getting better and better at putting herself back to sleep if she wakes up in the middle of the night - some nights are better than others.

Weslie is a joy to be around...always engaging others in a smile. She is a big time flirt. And loves to be around her big brother...wanting to play with whatever he is playing with.

I cant believe she is such a big girl...and not a little baby anymore. She's gonna be grown and gone before we know it!!!
