Trunk or Treat

Last night, we had alittle get together to celebrate Halloween a day early. (This weekend is the annual wives trip to an away football game, so we will be missing Halloween. We decided to let the kids get dressed up and come up to the Complex to have some Halloween fun.)

Here is the entire group...a sleeping pumpkin (Jackson), a princess (Bella), Batman...in cowboy boots (Kade), Dash Incredible (Jarrett), a diva (Olivia), an Army man (Nico), Coach Caton (Weslie), and a model (Bailey holding Wes).
We had such a good time. I created a "feel the monster parts" game where the kids had to stick their hands into different buckets and feel the parts of a monster (a smushed tomato for brains, some peeled grapes for eyes, some stuffing from a new baby shoe for hair, and some baby carrots for fingers.) The kids loved it...after I showed them what they were touching!!! They all had a great time and got tons of candy. Sherri even brought a Halloween story and read it to the kids.
