Jackhammer

At the swim club that we go to, there is a playground for the kids. This year, the club raised enough money to completely redo the playground. The old structure was made out of wood and cemented into the ground. Well, Keith and Don got roped into being the ones to get all the posts up out of the ground. So Monday night, the boys got there, and after shoveling pea gravel and trying to break the concrete with a sledge hammer...they called in reinforcements - a jack hammer. After 3 hours of jack hammering without alot of progress, the boys decided to call it a night and call in even bigger reinforcements on Tuesday. Here are some pics of Keith and the jack hammer...


On Tuesday, Sherman (owns a supply/equipment rental place) came out with a Dingo...it was kind of like a really small excavator...and within an hour, the posts were up, and the concrete gone. Good job guys!!! We cant wait to see the new structure on Friday.
