Mother's Day Recap

Yesterday was a very low key, very relaxing Mother's Day. Keith had to get Mom up at about 6:30am, as the MoX was picking her up from our house at 8:30am. (We are all so sad to see her go...we had a great time all week...thanks for everything, GK!!!) Keith left Weslie and I sleeping, and we ended up getting up at about 8am. We all saw Mom off and had breakfast, then DID NOTHING. Kade played, Weslie slept and ate, and Keith and I relaxed. Eventually, both boys went and got in our bed and fell asleep for a long nap...leaving the girls to bask in the silence.

We then got up, got ready, and went to eat dinner at LongHorn Steakhouse. We ended up only having to wait for about 30 minutes...which was surprising. The dinner was good...in between disciplining Kade and feeding/comforting Weslie.

Then we came home, got Kade put down for the night, and tended to Weslie's nightly meltdown. But we were all fast asleep by about 11:30pm.

Thanks Keith, Kade and Weslie for Mommy's new picture cube. Yall are the loves of my life!!! I am so proud to be your Mommy!!!

Sorry to hear about the nightly melt downs but we can relate. Logan did the for about a month from 9 - 11ish and we never really found a way to avoid it. Luckly he just grew out of it. Now they are both usually down for the evening by 9. Hope Weslie soon out grows hers also.
