A Noisy Package

Yesterday, Kade and I came home to a rather warm day. So we played out front for a while, letting the dogs out to run. On the front porch was a package...and as Kade and I went up to see what it was...there was all kinds of funny sounds coming from it.

Sidenote: I knew that we would be getting this package...as GK told me that she was sending Kade some stuff for Valentine's Day.

So we sit on the front steps and proceed to open it up...all the while, we are hearing sirens, airplanes, and car horns coming from the package.

As Kade reaches in, he pulls out a puzzle. It is all different kinds of transportation and when you make the match with the puzzle piece...it makes the noise of that particular car/truck/plane. He also pulled out another puzzle (a counting one) and an Elmo book. So I am sitting there looking at the gifts, and Kade says, "Mon, mommy! Inside!"

He took his puzzle and wanted to go inside so that he could play with it. Jana said that he was able to do both puzzles without any help from her!!!

Kade and Weslie each got Valentine's gifts from Granmomma and Grandaddy. Kade loved the towel balls (balls that once in the water "grow" into small towels)...in fact he took them, and we arent really sure where he put them. AND he immediately took out the cookie and wanted to eat it!!!

We had a great Valentine's Day...and hope everyone else did too!!!
