Bolo Ties

While at the Cotton Bowl...in our hotel, they had a Hospitality Room for the coaches and families. There were Wiis, ping-pong tables, foosball, pool tables, video games, TVs, couches...and all the stuff for the kids to play with and the parents to relax. They served breakfast every morning, then would have lunch and late night items, too. They also had two coolers stocked full of water, juice, milk, Gatorade, and Cokes. BUT the kicker was that in order to get into the Room, you had to be wearing your Bolo Tie. These were made for each member of the family and were supposed to be worn so that the Cotton Bowl Staff would know that you were OK to be in there.

Throughout the week, it became less and less of a concern for us to have our Bolos on - as we got to know the Cotton Bowl Staff. And I dont think that Kade wore his after he ripped it off the first time.

Here is a pic of Keith with his Bolo on...notice that the Bolo is in the shape of a Cotton Boll...and has Keith's name and team on it.

Yes, we know that Keith has the Bolo on WAAAYYYY too tight...but it was a funny pic.
