So again, as on every Tuesday morning, we attended Tumble Bees. I didnt know how Kade was going to act because he was about 1 second away from falling asleep in the car on the way...so we ventured in and took our chances.
Everything started out fine...Kade was climbing and having a good ole time...
...he walked up the orange ladder...
...he walked up the orange ladder...
...over the top...
...down the slide...
...up the blue stairs...
...thru the boxes, "Hey Dad, look at me!"...
...and up the red ramp.
We did this sequence another time and all was still going well. Then Mr. Bob had the kids walk down the balance beam to the rings (da, da, da...that was supposed to be said with a dreaded emphasis)...so we went last and Kade hung from the rings, Bob flipped him over, and sent him on his way to climb over another set of obstacles...well, true to form, this is what happened...
...so we kind of "pushed" Kade through all the stuff until enough of the other kids had a second time on the rings...so down the beam we went to the rings again (da, da, da)...this time I got a shot of Kade flipping over...
...and once again, when he got off the rings...this is what happened...
Kade was crying so hard that Keith and I had to take him over to the waiting area to let him clam down...I mean, I understand that he LOVES to hang from stuff, but my goodness!!!
So finally he calmed down and we went back to playing with the bean bags and some other toys, then it was our turn in the ball pit. Kade had a great time...
Keith was covering him up and Kade would kick out and just laugh....here is the video...
So, other than the "time out" we took so that Kade could recover from the meltdown, it was a fun class.
Actually, the class today was the last one of this session (can you believe we have been going for 6 weeks now?). We have enrolled Kade in the next session (it will only be 5 weeks) - Bob said they will be doing alittle bit different things next session...playing with a parachute, rolling a big ball...so it should be interesting!!! Stay tuned for the next installment!!
