So Keith and I signed up for a service called "Parents As Teachers." This service is free to ANY parent who lives in the Columbia Public School District and is basically a reference for parents to turn to. They send a Parent Educator to your house once a month to check out how you interact with your child and make sure the in their opinion (not a medical opinion) that your child is developing normally. They also sponsor all kinds of events throughout the year. Well, the annual "Tons of Trucks" event was last night, so Keith and I decided to load Kade up and go check it out. We had no idea it would be as HUGE of an event as it was. There was every kind of truck there that you can imagine...the typical fire truck and ambulance and police car, but there was also school buses, salt spreaders, UPS trucks, mail trucks, trash trucks, and on and on and on. They also had any and every type of farm equipment...tractors and trailers...and all kinds of construction trucks...cement turners, front loaders, back hoes, etc. And you could walk thru, get on, and play with all the buttons, horns, gadgets, etc. on each "truck". So it was an awesome event...we just wish it wouldnt have been so cold...(it was like 40 degrees while we were out there, brrrrrr!!!)
